Designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built at the Pithak Shipyard in Thailand, the aluminum
sloop-rigged SILVERLINING was launched in 2011. Since then, she has cruised more than
50,000 nautical miles, visiting more than 40 countries. She is a proven safe, reliable and
strong passage maker.
This sleek aluminum yacht has a teak-laid deck, a raised inside salon and a lower deck. She
features a large aft cockpit with twin raised helms, a bar area in the cockpit, an L-shaped settee
and dinner table for eight. Inside the raised salon, she offers an additional dining space for eight guests, as well as an inside helm station and a wine bar. The interior of SILVERLINING is
contemporary with solid teak trimmings and ornaments.
SILVERLINING offers four guests cabins for up to eight guests. A lower-deck, full-beam master
cabin is located aft with a king-size bed and en-suite bath with solid teak tub. The VIP
stateroom is located on the lower deck to starboard and offers a queen-size bed and en-suite
facilities. Two additional guest cabins, one with a double bed and one with twins, share an ensuite

Sparkman and Stephens pedigree design Proven safe circumnavigator
2011 vintage with one meticulous owner
Luxurious and comfortable interior accommodation for 8 guests and up to 5 crew Equally
suitable for family cruising or charter
Long (2,500NM) range at cruising speed
Impeccable maintenance, ready to cruise around the world
Strong aluminium construction with large swim platform/garage

The current and first owner is a very experienced cruising yachtsman. From the opportunity to
buy the Sparkman and Stephens designed aluminium hull to the very high equipment
specification and the meticulous project management during the construction, Silver Lining was
conceptualised to be a safe family home for world travels.
After 50,000NM cruising visiting 40+ countries with his family (2 kids) and captain Silver
Lining still presents fresh and does not show any unexpected wear and tear. The owner and his
family have returned ashore after their 5 year sabbatical and offer Silver Lining for sale.
She has been kept in class (ABS A1) till 2015 but the owner felt that Class was not providing
any benefit and let the Class Certificate lapse. This could be reinstated quite easily and the
owner is prepared to do this if requested.
Original with dark blue topsides the owner realised that in the hot climates a dark colour creates
unwanted interior heat and high maintenance topsides. He decided to repaint the hull in a light
grey which presents as new.
Compared to the market supply Silver Lining presents exceptional value and being relatively
new (2011) she does not require any major refitting. Instead she is ready to sail around the
world with a new owner.
