Newport Bermuda Race

Friday, June 15th – Saturday, June 23rd, 2018

Founded in 1906, the Newport Bermuda Race is the oldest regularly scheduled ocean race. It is also one of very few international distance races, and (with the Transpac Race) one of just two of the world’s regularly scheduled races held almost entirely out of sight of land.

Attracting seasoned and amateur sailors alike, this year’s event is expected to have close to 200 boats competing. The race attracts sailors from across North America and the globe.  In 2016, sailors represented over 20 different countries.
