![]() Curt Brayer
A broker in South Florida for over 40 years, Curt is well versed in production boats as well as large custom yachts. After arriving in Florida in 1963 from Buffalo, NY he spent 10 years as sales manager for Merrill Stevens brokerage. Well known on the powerboat racing circuit in the 60's Curt is the world record holder for the APBA straight away (94.607 mph) in his DANCING BEAR the world's fastest F-Service Runabout (which he built). He is a member of the Gulf Marine Hall of Fame. He continues to enjoy DANCING BEAR and shows her regularly at Antique and Classic Boat Shows and events.
Peter Grimm
Peter's experience spans over forty years in Ft. Lauderdale. Retired Chairman of the Florida Yacht Brokers Associations' Ethics & Arbitration Committee, Chairman of Marine Industries of So. Florida's Boat Show Committee he is well in touch with the waterfront. Peter began sailing in 1947, has raced and cruised extensively throughout the world. He has owned and captained ten vessels, both sail and power from 1958 to the present.
Chuck Irwin
Chuck brings over 40 years of experience in new and used boat sales. Early in his career he was president of Richard Bertram Brokerage, New Boat Sales and Yards in Miami, Ft Lauderdale and Palm Beach. In 1969 he and his father, Charlie, started Chas. P. Irwin Yacht Brokerage. The Irwin name has been consistently synonymous with honesty and integrity in the South Florida and international marine industry. Over the past years Chas. P. Irwin Co. represented both Burger Boat Company and Palmer Johnson. Their most recent project was the construction of the 161' ANSON BELL, which was a joint effort of Palmer Johnson, Sparkman & Stephens, and Chuck Irwin.
Jack Zacks
Jack grew up boating on inland and great lakes in Wisconsin and Michigan. After spending over 27 years in the produce business Jack became a yacht broker in 2000. His experience racing sailboats on the great lakes and cruising his own powerboat in Florida help him guide his clients to the right yacht at the right price. Jack has helped his clients in the purchase of motor yachts and sailboats from 35' to over 100'. Jack's other interests include flying and snow skiing. He is currently one of the longest serving international alpine ski officials in the world.
Kathy McClure-Marana
Kathy came to Florida in 1982 after 17 years in the British and US Virgin Islands where she lived aboard her sailboat and was involved in charter & marina operations. In 1983 she joined Peter, Curt and their partners at United Yacht Brokers as a brokerage assistant, where her years of experience in the marine industry seemed a natural fit to yacht brokerage.
