The classic lines of this 56’ sloop are derived from one of the most famous and beloved S&S designs, STORMY WEATHER. Most of the aesthetic elements from STORMY WEATHER were maintained- deck layout, sheerline, tumblehome, house shape and cockpit configuration- and placed on a modern, efficient underbody.

Design No. 2678 is a 46' classic cruising sloop in the Sparkman & Stephens tradition. Continuing a relationship of many years, the yacht was built at A. Walsteds Baadevrft in Denmark.

A second hull of Design No. 2678 is the basis for a new design commission. A different deck layout and general arrangement tailor the design for the customer's unique requirements while the shared hull lines and construction help reduce the building costs. Constructed in laminated wood like the first hull, the styling recalls vintage S&S boats such as TENACIOUS (ex-DORA IV). Continuing a relationship of many years, the yacht was built at A. Walsteds Baadevrft in Denmark.
