Aesthetics were important to the owner during the design phase of this yacht. The interior was elegantly styled by Redman and Whiteley of London. Finished primarily in verneered walnut and neutral fabric tones. There is a professional galley and ample storage for a first class wine collection onboard. The lower salon is warm and inviting and highlights an antique enamel fireplace, which provides the feel of a gentlemen’s club.

The comfortable pilothouse allows a protected position for driving and enjoying the scenery. The arrangement includes three spacious staterooms plus crew quarters. The large owner’s stateroom aft also has access to the private cockpit for reading or enjoying a sunset with a fine glass of wine.

Deck Layout

CARMELLA is a proper yacht in the most traditional sense of the word. Her deck layout is simple and efficient to allow the boat to be sailed easily by the owner and a small crew. For offshore cruising, the ketch rig with roller furling genoa and staysail as well as a mizzen staysail and Asymmetric spinnaker allows for unlimited sail combinations for any condition. The deck is finished in traditional teak as well as the entire pilothouse. All sail controls are led into the center cockpit.
