The renowned New Zealand boat builder McMullen & Wing was commissioned to build this aluminum center console RIB with inflatable tubes as a tender to a 12 Metre racing program. Bulkheads, longitudinal stringers and stiffeners with 13” frame separation is the type of construction seen rarely on this type of boat.
Built ruggedly without compromise, this deep vee hull is, without doubt, the most comfortable purpose-built high-speed RIB. With ample torque, she can tow two 12 Metre yachts with power to spare then return to port for ‘errands’ at speeds in excess of 40 knots.
The rubber non-skid covered deck is comfortable under foot. Aluminum deck hatches allow access to bilge storage.
The superstructure built of GRP offers ample cover for two at the helm station. Upholstered bolsters convert to upright seating. A cushion covered bench above the battery box aft of the superstructure offers additional seating for two.
