DAUNTLESS – 65′ Motoryacht

1945. Laurance S. Rockefeller commissions Sparkman & Stephens to design a motoryacht to commute the Hudson River between Tarrytown, NY and Manhattan. He desires a luxurious commuter cruiser with the performance and technology of the PT-boats developed by S&S during World War II. Dauntless launches in 1948, with two PT-boat engines delivering 1,350hp each, topping out at 40 knots.

2020. Sparkman & Stephens takes a fresh look at Dauntless, while maintaining her classic elegance. Refined hull lines and sophisticated design blend beautifully to produce a new yacht with expansive modern living spaces for relaxing and entertaining with ease. Spacious cockpit, 360 pilothouse views, jet-powered propulsion, joystick control, push-button windows, hydraulic tender garage and grand staterooms all tailored to your lifestyle without compromise.
